Teeth that never queue up

Chinese have a famous saying frequently used for threatening little kids to always be honest.

They say, if you lied, you'll lose your teeth (or molars to be specific).

The other day, I was telling the same thing to Qian Ning. And I showed her my lost tooth as evidence.

You see, I lost one of my permanent premolar teeth. And it sort of caused my lateral incisor and canine teeth to grow slightly out-of-place.

Bottom line is, I have misaligned teeth and a visible gap (where the premolar used to sit).

Upon seeing my teeth and hearing my lie advice on the consequences of lying, Qian Ning kept quiet.

After a while, she said: "Mommy's teeth never queue up".

I was speechless...
